 2026 7th International Conference on Computer Information and Big Data Applications Successfully Held

On March 21,2026 7th International Conference on Computer Information and Big Data Applications (CIBDA 2026) was held in the Administrative Center's Round Lecture Hall. The conference adopted a hybrid model combining online and offline participation. More than 200 attendees took part in the event, including Huang Zebo (President of Wuhan Donghu University),Zhan Junsan  (Vice President), as well as computer information and big data experts and scholars from around the world.

At the opening ceremony, President Huang Zebo delivered a welcome address. He introduced the university’s progress in scientific research and extended a warm welcome to the participating experts, scholars, and attendees from both domestic and international backgrounds. He noted that since 2021, Wuhan Donghu University has consecutively hosted six sessions of this international conference, which not only affirms the university's academic strengths but also serves as an encouragement to better serve the scholarly community. He stated that the university would take this conference as an opportunity to further strengthen Party building, promote the spirit of scientists, enhance academic leadership, support the growth of scientific and technological talent, expand the scope of its services, and strive to create new prospects for the university’s research endeavors from a new starting point.

The conference invited several internationally renowned scholars to deliver keynote presentations. During the keynote session, Professor Jiang Hongbo (European Academy of Sciences Academician, IET/BCS/AAIA Fellow), Professor Pietro S. Oliveto from Southern University of Science and Technology, Professor Philippe Fournier-Viger from Shenzhen University, Assistant Professor and Researcher Lu Meng from the Institute of Advanced Clinical Medicine at Peking University, Associate Professor Ghamgeen Izat Rashed from Wuhan University, and Professor JongMyoung Kim from Sehan University in South Korea delivered insightful academic reports on cutting-edge topics in computer science, big data technology, and related fields. Oral presentations were also given by scholars and industry experts including Xu Songhang from Guizhou University, Liu Shiwei from Hubei University of Technology, Zhao Ruijun from Tianjin Normal University, Wu Lanxin from Xihua University, Qu Jingwen from Chongqing Vocational Institute of Engineering, Feng Xiaomei from Macao Polytechnic University, Zhang Yana from Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, and Dai Jiaze from Wuchang Institute of Technology. The participating experts and scholars actively engaged in discussions, creating a vibrant atmosphere for academic exchange.


The conference attracted nearly 100 universities and research institutions to submit papers, including Peking University, Wuhan University, Hunan University, Northwestern Polytechnical University, Southern University of Science and Technology, Shenzhen University, Beijing University of Technology, Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, Hefei University of Technology, Tianjin Normal University, Henan University, Hubei University of Technology, Macao Polytechnic University, Sehan University (South Korea), and National University (Philippines), among others. A total of over 300 papers were submitted. Throughout the conference, participants conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on multiple hot topics, including computer science, artificial intelligence technology, digital economy and business, and IoT applications.

This conference presented a content-rich, high-level, and international academic feast. It provided a high-quality platform for exchange and collaboration among universities, research institutions, and enterprises. The participating experts and scholars fully communicated information, strengthened academic exchanges, honed innovative thinking, and jointly advanced the development of research in computer information and big data applications.
